There’s Still Time to Choose a Weekend for the Two of You

Couple packing their car for a weekend away together for the Hold Me Tight® Couples Workshop at Dickinson Ranch in Utah.

Life has a way of filling every available space.

There is always something that needs to be done. Work. Family. Laundry. Appointments. Projects around the house. Messages that need answering. People who need something from you.

And somewhere in the middle of all of that is your relationship.

Maybe your relationship is struggling right now. Or maybe it isn’t.

Maybe you actually love each other very much, get along pretty well, and simply can’t remember the last time you stepped away from everything else long enough to really focus on one another.

There is still time to choose a weekend for the two of you.

What If This Weekend Belonged to Your Relationship?

From September 4–6, 2026, couples will gather at Dickinson Ranch near Cedar City, Utah, for a Hold Me Tight® Couples Workshop facilitated by Rachel Christensen, LCSW.

But this weekend is about more than sitting in a room listening to someone talk about relationships.

It is three days set apart from ordinary life.

Time to slow down.

Time to talk without one of you needing to run out the door.

Time to listen without a phone buzzing beside you.

And time to remember that underneath all of the responsibilities you carry together, there are still two people who chose each other.

You Don't Have to Wait Until Something Is Wrong

Sometimes couples assume a relationship workshop is something you attend only when your marriage is in trouble.

It doesn't have to be.

You can choose to invest in your relationship while things are good.

You can learn to communicate more deeply before a misunderstanding becomes a recurring argument. You can become more aware of the patterns you fall into when life gets stressful. And you can intentionally create more of the emotional connection that brought you together in the first place.

You don't need a crisis to decide your relationship deserves your attention.

Sometimes, “We're worth taking care of” is reason enough.

Three Days Away From the Usual Routine

Part of what makes this particular Hold Me Tight® weekend special is the setting.

You'll be staying on-site at Dickinson Ranch in Southern Utah, with rustic lodging and meals included during the weekend.

This isn't a luxury resort getaway—and it isn't pretending to be one.

It's a chance to step away from the usual noise and spend a few days in a simpler setting where the focus isn't on fancy accommodations.

The focus is on each other.

During the workshop, Rachel Christensen, LCSW, will guide couples through the Hold Me Tight® experience with discussions, video examples, and exercises that partners complete privately together.

You won't be expected to stand in front of a room and tell strangers the intimate details of your relationship.

The meaningful conversations happen between the two people who matter most: you and your partner.

There's Something Else Waiting for You, Too

This weekend also includes special experiences with Zosha from Sound Will Heal.

Couples will have opportunities to participate in traditional tea ceremonies as well as sound healing experiences designed to create space to relax, slow down, and reconnect.

Together, the workshop, the setting, the meals, the tea ceremonies, and the sound healing create something that feels less like another item on your calendar and more like an intentional pause from ordinary life.

A weekend where you don't have to accomplish everything.

You simply get to be together.

Imagine Heading Home on Sunday

Think about what it might feel like to get into the car at the end of the weekend.

Maybe nothing about your life on the outside has changed.

The emails are still there.

The laundry probably is too.

Monday morning will still come.

But perhaps the two people driving home feel a little different.

Maybe you understand one another better.

Maybe you've had a conversation you've been meaning to have for months.

Maybe you laughed together.

Maybe you remembered something about the person sitting beside you that everyday life had quietly pushed into the background.

And maybe you head home feeling more like us again.
